Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a reservation?

It is recommended but not required; walk ups are subject to availability. We do sell out frequently, so we recommend reserving ahead of time!

How does it work?

When you arrive at the marina, you’ll check in with us, sign a waiver (if you haven’t already), and obtain a wrist band. A couple minutes before the start of your session, there will be a briefing by a lifeguard that you must attend. At the scheduled session time, you will swim from our platform out to the course.

Do I need to arrive early?

Yes. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your session to have time to get checked in and get your life vest. The briefing will start a couple of minutes before your session time.

What If I'm late for my session?

Make sure you have your waiver signed ahead of time; as soon as you arrive, we will get you checked in and get you on the course for the remaining of your session.

Guests who arrive late or fail to show for their session will NOT be issued a refund.

What If I Can't Make It For My Reservation?

Adjustments to your booking must be completed at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session.

Guests who cancel a reservation 7 or more days in advance may receive a monetary refund less a $15 cancellation fee.

Guests who cancel a reservation less than 7 days in advance may reschedule to another scheduled session, subject to availability and provided that the guest has given at least 48 hours notice.

There are no refunds or rescheduling within 48 hours of the session!

Does the park ever close because of weather?

We are open rain or shine, however if we see lightening in the area or wind warnings we may be required to close temporarily or for the entire day.

How long is each session?

Each session lasts 45 minutes.

Can I do more than one session?

Yes. You will have to exit in between sessions and you will be required to attend the safety briefing again.

What are the rules?

Please see our Park Rules for a complete list.

How old do you have to be?

You have to be at least 7 years old and 45” tall to play on the Wibit.

What are the requirements?

We require each participant to sign a waiver (or have one signed by a parent or guardian) prior to playing on the course.

How deep is the water?

The water at Lake Pleasant fluctuates. The course will always be in at least 8 feet of water, usually many more than that.

Are life jackets provided?

Yes, and they are required to be worn the entire time you are on the course. Removing your life vest will end your session immediately!

Can I wear shoes?

No, nothing with a hard sole. Only socks (available at the park) are allowed (you may also bring your own). Socks must be material only. No other water shoes, river shoes, Tevas, Crocs, sneakers or any other black bottomed or hard bottomed shoe will be permitted.

Can I use my selfie stick?

No, we do not allow selfie sticks as they can harm others and puncture the inflatables. We do allow GoPros and Cell Phones AT YOUR OWN RISK! The water is very deep and if you drop something, no one can retrieve it for you.

What if the weather is bad?

We will close the park if the weather necessitates it. If this occurs, we will reschedule your session for another day.

Are food and beverages available?

The marina has a restaurant as well as a convenience store with drinks and snacks. The restaurant gets very busy and frequently has long wait times on the weekends.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, but we recommend keeping a cooler up in your vehicle if you bring food. We operate from a dock with limited space and the dock gets very busy. There is not room to store coolers.

Can I bring my pet?

The marina allows pets; however, no pets are allowed on the inflatables or in our office boat. If you are coming to play on the Wibit, we ask that you don’t bring pets as there is not a lot of room to wait around.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, we require that you know how to swim for your safety.

Do I need to have a parent or guardian?

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian will need to accompany you to sign the waiver or sign the waiver online before you arrive.

Additionally, we strongly recommend that children barely above the 45" height requirement have an adult with them on the course. The steps can be hard to climb back up on for shorter children.

WAIVER

In order to attend the park, every participant must complete a liability waiver.  Speed up your check-in by signing the waiver in advance.
